About the book
Journalist Alice Whittaker finds herself caught in a pattern of events that should not be possible. Days repeat. People disappear. Records alter. Memories no longer match what remains.
At the centre is Mick Holden, a man whose life appears to have been changed by something he cannot explain. Alice follows the evidence through present-day Blackpool and back towards events in 1895, searching for the point where the story first began to shift.
But every answer creates another problem. If memory, history and written records can all change, what can Alice trust—and what happens when the same force begins to reach her?
